2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Website Design and Development Services

Due to the custom nature of our website design and development services, we have the following refund policies:

Initial Deposit

The initial deposit (typically 30-50% of the project cost) is non-refundable once work has begun on your project. This deposit covers initial consultations, research, planning, and preliminary design work.

Milestone Payments

Milestone payments are non-refundable once the associated deliverables have been approved by you. Each milestone represents a completed phase of your project, and approval indicates your satisfaction with that phase.

Final Payment

The final payment is due before the website is launched or final deliverables are released. Once the final payment has been made and the website has been launched or deliverables delivered, no refund will be issued.

2.2 Monthly Services

For ongoing monthly services such as maintenance plans, hosting, or support packages:

  • Monthly services are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period
  • You may cancel at any time, and no further charges will be made after the current billing period ends
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of the current billing period

2.3 Annual Services

For services billed annually, such as annual hosting or maintenance plans:

  • If you cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase, a full refund may be issued, provided no significant work has been performed
  • If you cancel after 14 days but within the first 30 days, a partial refund of 70% of the annual fee may be issued at our discretion
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations after 30 days from the purchase date

3. Conditions for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Not Provided

If we fail to provide the services outlined in your project agreement or service contract, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund. This must be reported to us within 14 days of the scheduled delivery date.

3.2 Major Technical Issues

If your website experiences major technical issues within 30 days of launch that are directly attributable to our work and that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a partial refund. The amount will be determined based on the nature and severity of the issues.

3.3 Cancellation by DesignCraft

If we are unable to complete your project due to unforeseen circumstances and must cancel our agreement, you will receive a refund for any services that have been paid for but not delivered. This does not include work that has already been completed and delivered.

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your name, project details or service information, and the reason for your refund request
  3. Include any relevant documentation or evidence supporting your request
  4. Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days

All refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis according to the terms outlined in this policy.

5. Refund Processing Time

If your refund request is approved, the processing time will depend on your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days
  • Bank Transfer: Refunds are typically processed within 7-14 business days
  • PayPal: Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days

Please note that while we process refunds promptly, the actual time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and is beyond our control.

6. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

The following situations are not eligible for refunds:

6.1 Change of Mind

Once work has begun on your project, we cannot issue refunds simply because you change your mind about the project or decide to go with another provider.

6.2 Design Preferences

Refunds will not be issued for subjective design preferences after designs have been approved. This is why we provide ample opportunity for feedback and revisions during the design process.

6.3 Scope Changes

If you request changes that fall outside the original project scope, additional fees may apply. These additional fees are non-refundable if the requested changes have been implemented.

6.4 Third-Party Services

We cannot issue refunds for third-party services that we procure on your behalf, such as domain registrations, stock photos, premium plugins, or themes. These services are subject to the refund policies of the respective providers.

6.5 Client Delays

If your project is delayed due to your failure to provide necessary content, feedback, or approvals in a timely manner, no refunds will be issued for any resulting delays or additional costs.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our decision regarding your refund request, we encourage you to contact us to discuss the situation further. We are committed to finding fair and reasonable solutions to any disputes.
